Mr. Ballingu’s areas of research expertise are focused on numerical analyses of engineering problems Structures and Vibrations, FMEA, Reliability, Product life cycle management. He has over 7,000 hours of software/tools “seat time” that required more than 20 x 103 hours of cpu- time. His principle career goal has been, and will continue to be, advancing the acceptance and use of computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools for estimating loss factors in vibrations and acoustics.Outside of daily engineering work, his current focus is on advanced modeling and adaptation of techniques for composite structures and vibrational analysis.
Since 2011, Aerohawks has extensive experience using CAE tools, including approximately:
• 1,500 – 1,800 hours of model preparation (3D CAD and Hypermesh)
• 4,000 – 4,500 hours of FEA, excluding meshing/grid preparation
• 1,500 – 1,800 hours of CFD, excluding meshing/grid preparation
