Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shannon L. Noy. I own and operate SLW Design, located in Framlingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk. My career as an artist began with a formal education in Advertising and Graphic Design at the esteemed Hussian School of Art, located in Philadelphia, PA. In 2000, I graduated with an AST Degree in Advertising Design, with honors.
All my life, I've always had a passion for art, whether it be drawing or painting. Art always seemed to hold an important role in my life. It started out as a mere hobby, then became an outlet. As I got older, it became a passion. It soon became my everything. My life became it. It was my thoughts, my breath, my heart, my communication. And as a teenager, I knew it would be my future!
As a student, I excelled in my computer graphics and website design classes. During my senior year, I held an internship at Madison Advertising Group, which was located in Vineland, NJ. I had several advertisements in local newspapers and telephone directories.
After graduation, I held a graphic artist position at Adams Printing of Bridgeton. It was there I learned hands-on experience of the printing world. From concept to paper!
In September of 2001, I decided to part ways with Adams Printing and went down a new path of experience and a job that I truly loved! I became a part of the art department at the Gloucester County Times in Woodbury, NJ. Even though my stay was only three years, it will be an experience that I will always treasure.
In July 2004, I decided to work closer to home and became employed as graphic designer at Sir Speedy Bridgeton. While I was there, I felt it was time for me to go out on my own, so in February of 2005, I decided to take SLW Design Freelance further toward the goal I had always wanted when I started it back in high school. So, here I am!
Although SLW Design is a home-based design studio in Framlingham, it's growing clientele around the country are provided with the highest standard of service and the kind of professionalism expected from a large company.
