We posted project for same and have lots of interest in it. Hardest thing is to communicate with all bidders. It's also hard to select someone without knowing how he/she will work on it. So we have decided to post contest. This way we can check what we are getting and may be someone can come up with better design that we are looking for. We did same thing with logo and got amazing design we never thought about. There are lots of creative people out there looking for work and we are giving them chance to showcase their skills. We want out website similar to selectblindscanada.ca but are open to all options. May be someone has already created better design. May be someone can come up with better idea. We will select best one with user friendly features and with easy to use and manage control panel. For project bids are starting from $250 Canadian dollars. We are paying $500 CAD for contest. Here are requirements. We need eCommerce website to sell custom made blinds online. We want features similar to Selectblindscanada.ca. On top of that we should be able to add few forms from control panel. Control panel should be fully functional and easy to manage. Should be able to add and delete products, photos, Pages, users, forms etc.
Selectblindscanada.ca has too many features. We don’t need all the features they have. For reference and make it easier to understand project, we have taken screen shots of Selectblindscanada.ca. We deleted what we don’t need from screenshots . All options that are showing in screen shots must be fully functional like they are in Selectblindscanada.ca. Where it says “future”, (Home page) should have option to add anything if needed in future.
Please check included screenshots(photos) to see how we want website to look like. We are including screen shots of Home page, product selection and checkout. Prices are based on selected products and their sizes. When users select certain product and size, they should see accurate price. We have price list and formula to calculate prices based on selected size. Screenshots are from desktop computer. Website should work with all devices effectively. Everything shown in screenshot needs to work like Selectblindscanada.ca. Bidding freelancers should visit Selectblindscanada.ca and click/check everything to see how it works. It’s their responsibility to make sure everything that is showing in screenshots is working properly as its working on Selectblindscanada.ca. If anything doesn’t work the way it should be, its freelancer’s responsibility to make sure it's fixed/added and works. Bidding price should be final price. We are not going to pay more that bidding price. Project should be finished within given time. We can discuss and decide how we will receive orders from customers. If you have any doubt or question, feel free to ask. We are open to suggestions and different ideas to make sure website is effective and user friendly.
