Dear all freelancers,

After checking all posts in the contest the board could not decide any winner so the decision is to extend the contest another week.

Please read this carefully

-We are not interested in copy-cats, i.e. freelancers that is copy each other, that is not fair to the contest.

-Please try to use your own skills and present something that we are looking after.

-The organisation has currently a website http://www.flygutbildare.se that will be totally re-designed to a modern design, contract has already been assigned to a developer.

Svenska Flygutbildarföreningen are an association consisting of flight, -simulator -theory teachers/instructors working in Sweden. The association is independent from other associations, organizations and companies. The organisation works proactive to inform internally towards our members and broaden information that is related to flight training questions, to be a part towards our aviation authorities and other organisations within flight training matters.

The association annually arranges further training and further development for the association's members in the form of conferences, seminars, member meetings, etc.

We are now placing a contest on freelancer where we are asking after a new logo that works both in colour and black/white plus a complete branding schema with colours that could be used on web, print, etc.

The freelancer should present:

-modern logo that is associated with what we do in our organisation
-brand document with color, typefaces, etc
-the logo must contain the word Svenska Flygutbildarföreningen in a horisontal row together with a symbol
-the new logo must present the feeling of strength, reliability and strategical mind behind the brand.
-proportions of the logo should almost equal to 2:1 ratio, which allow very flexible usage.
-pantone, CMYK, RGB and Hex schema should be enclosed to the logo in terms of colors.

The logo should be easy to use on web, stationery such as business cards, envelopes, letterhead, powerpoints, etc.

Current logo is enclosed to the project (contest) just to give an background how it looks today.

The Board together with our web designer will pick a winner within the next coming days, the winner will be the one that has presented something that is unique, fresh and easy to implement on our new website.   Marco, Good that you have read the brief, that should all Freelancers start to do do understand what we are looking after. A graphic designer must be able to think outside the box when designing some unique in terms of logos and symbols. It is good that you try to give a background of the design but if you look the overall design when combining text and the symbol you do not get the right proportions, typeface together with the symbol must work together. The logo needs to work B/W, the format needs to be good both on web and print. The board gives the propostion 2 stars

Hi all Freelancers, all new posts has been checked, all posts that are copies from previous posts (copy-cats) has been immediately rejected and will NOT be evaluated further or part of the contest. Only Freelancers that is reading our BRIEF and clarification board will be evaluated. A good graphic designer needs to think outside the box and try to create something unique, fresh abd modern. This contest was open so all Freelancers has the ability to check each other, that was a bad decision. The contest is still open for Freelancers that want to participate, we will not extend the contest as we will announce a winner when the contest is closed.
