Need a logo design for "Rip City Freight", a Portland based transportation company (trucking, air, and rail). Interested in abstract non-transport specific. "fast", "movement". red, black, and gray colors.
Have general concept design ideas but need the professional touch of a real artist. After something that evokes ripcity trail blazers logo and colors but does not encroach on their intellectual property. Avoid the look of gunshot on any swish strikethru on the design..

Thank you SO much for all the submissions. Its been overwhelming to review them all. Your time is appreciated. Best of luck to everyone, at least one of you will be winning that $60. Hint: Rip City Freight does require some additional marketing design work, so keep that in mind as you submit entry for a logo.. we may be coming to you for additional work on some business cards, etc. (no promises, just possibility..)

I've removed the sample logos of Rip City (Trail Blazers) because that was only intended to show what that looks like - not that wanted it integrated into the design. Echoes of the color and general design is ok but can't be reusing it as-is. Those entries have been getting rejected.

If you are working on a design that is derivative of an earlier submission by different artist, that won't reflect well.. it will be taken into consideration that a later design submitted which matches earlier idea submitted by someone else will loose you points. Just be considerate of what you plan to submit.
