  I'm a fool because I followed the requirements until the winning project didn't comply. I'm not going to comment on whether the winning design is modern, because that's not entirely objective. But there is no way that the winning project has an overall size of 80 mm (view from the top, written in the condition) and minimum size of the glass part of 76 mm (according to the drawing provided by the contest holder). The protruding glass part is also absolutely impossible to fit in the 80mm size. According to the terms of the competition, it is not possible to have such a wide bottom part. I have lost many contests and have not allowed myself to comment except when a design that does not meet the criteria is chosen. This leads to the situation where many of us have wasted our time. Because we could also make a wide bottom and a convex glass part if we knew that the conditions of the contest could be totally violated. My criticism is not to the winner, but to the contest holder.

  A very necessary and must-follow explanation that wastes almost everyone's time;
  **Main guidelines:
  - the height of the glass part – 180 mm
  - the height of the grave Light including the plastic parts of bottom and the top – max 260 mm
  - max size – view from the top – 80 mm **
  
  None of the liked entries are eligible, the winning entry is completely irrelevant...
  (I have no dissent towards the owner of the winning post, I'm just angry at the contest holder.)

  there is some confusion.... First of all you asked for a modern design and classic designs get more stars. Second point, say you use your STEPS for plastic parts and those who don't use them get more stars. Third point, tell me to respect the 80mm diameter and 180mm height measurements for the glass and those who don't respect them get more stars.... It sounds like a waste of time or some smart move to get ideas for free by winning, look at the case , a "user from Poland".... I just want to see when he wins the competition what he has submitted and I'll be ready to apologize for my doubts on this last point!

     I had almost the same thing with another contest and the result was as I expected.
     For the same reasons, after the first design I submitted, I decided not to work for this contest.
     I think that the award is so high that it is purely to attract attention.
     Waiting to see the result...

  Yeah, my comment was not finished. sory. I only see good ratings for proposals that do not even use the step file or are not even modern. That is something strange. My suggestion: you will get better results from a contest if you give some kind of feedback. I understand this is a contest, but you are not being consistent in what you ask, and what you rate, makes me feel you are getting many ideas for free. Thats why my designs are withdrawn. Thank you for the oportunity!

     I also withdrew all my bids due to the fact that most of the bids that were rated were either square or did not use the bid owner's file as "basic parts" and received the lowest score for their bids. It's kind of not right!! This is if I posted a competition and indicated that I need to come up with a new design for a three-wheeled car, but would I put high scores on four-wheeled cars?!?!?

  Moreover, it is not clear whether you want to use a candle or an electric/led light bulb.... if the first solution is the most suitable, your STEP files are not good, much less the many 3-star choices with the candle
