Quotes (https://www.freelancer.com.au/support/project/quotations) is a new tool that empowers Freelancers to sell more services and get paid securely.

With quotes, freelancers can now send itemized proposals to their clients for review enabling a more proactive approach to finding work. Not only is sending quotes great for Freelancers, it’s now also easier for Clients to review proposals and request more work.

We will be also launching a new feature shortly that allows you to send quotes via email to clients not registered on Freelancer.com yet! Thus, we also encourage you to come up with great ways to sell more work to clients outside Freelancer.com.

What we’re looking for is:
In less than 300 words we challenge you to answer the question: What is the best ways to use Quotes?

Your entry can include everything from how you use quotes to upsell your services to Clients, to what you think are the best scenarios for using quotes and the benefits you’ve unlocked.

We’re excited to hear all of your responses and the winning entries (up to 15!) will receive a $100 USD prize as well as potentially being used in additional marketing material.

Try out the Quotes feature if you haven’t already and feel free to get creative with your responses. There may be multiple ways Quotes is useful to you - we would love to hear about it!

Requirements:
Answer the question: What are the best ways to use Quotes?
Maximum 300 words
Entries must be in English
To win the prize you must have sent at least one Quote prior to contest close

Other Preferences:
Contestants that have demonstrated their experience with Quotes by having one or more quotes accepted by a Client prior to contest close may have an advantage

Judging Criteria:
Requirements: Does the submission meet the requirements outlined in the contest description
Quality: Is the content creative, engaging and well written
Generalisability: Is the content applicable to a wide range of users

  They were not looking for ways to upsell quotes. All they wanted was a bunch of similar entries describing how to impress employers with fancy words. Highly disappointed. First they unsealed the contest. Mine was the first to get 4 stars. No one knew till then what the contest holder was looking for
