The program will read in all the records in the [login to view URL] file and move it into a indexed table that can hold 100 records
The application will prompt the user using value 1 to show all stations details or 2 search for a specific station id # in the table
The ascending key will be the Station Id #
Make sure to create the weather subscript variables too
Use the [login to view URL] the document as your source data .DAT file - you can paste in the data in putty using double mouse click L&R at the same time.
The program will read in the all the fields from the file: Station Ii #, MMDDYYYY, Mean temp, Fog, Rain, Snow, Mail, Thunder, Tornado
Example: 948090,4,20,1997,68,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,TRUE,TRUE
Remember when working with files you have to perform Setup, Open, Read, End-Read, and Close them too
Make sure to define the WORKING-STORAGE SECTION fields for reading and writing files
I am getting syntax errors and need help understanding how to setup, compile and run the program on a linux system.
