We are developing an MVP IOT Project using Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 (V2), but we could only get data transmission up 100 meters (LOS).
Example of the place where we want to use in this MVP
On google maps you can type this information and understand about the place.
Origin: -3.218849, -59.674508
Target: -3.197030, -59.825870
Those coordinates are not Line of Sight with a dense rain forest, we can use other strategies to overcome this issue(tower communication, add more nodes etc), but first of all we need to get maximum capacity of our current hardware on LOS
Our setup:
*Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 (V2) (433MHz) [login to view URL]
*Antenna:
Brand Name: xls antenna
Model Number: xls-1145-433

*Signal Amplifier:
LNA 50-4000MHz RF Low Noise Amplifier Signal Receiver Module Shield Board SPF5189
Deion:
LNA: 50-4000mhz
NF: SPF5189Z
LNA0: 0.6 dB
Amplifier: FM
Color: green
Size: 23*28MM

* Cable that connects the esp32 to the amplifier:
Customized SMA male to Ipex patch cord RG178 UFL cable for communication antenna

* Firmware:
Lora Library by Sandeep Mistry with the following configuration.
FREQ 433E6
PABOOST true
TXPOWER 17
SPREADING_FACTOR 11
BANDWIDTH 250E3
CODING_RATE 7
PREAMBLE_LENGTH 8
SYNC_WORD 100
* Deliverables:
Software and hardware specifications for better communication including correct wiring and software parameters.
Is the cable correct?
is the amplifier best suit for our needs?
is the software parameters correct for those hardware?
is the chosen library able to use all the potential of the hardware?
Feel free to suggest other hardware configuration (Heltec module is mandatory) or library(Radio Head maybe)
We can discuss additional milestones to develop a prototype with a software, but for this job we just need a consulting on this problem.

Odaítélve:
Throw away those antennas. The advertising is totally false. You need a good quality Yagi antenna for your application. Many other improvements are possible. Regards, Jim
