Fabricstop is an online commerce store, it has a CMS and PMS. The product management system
requires a stock control that can be adjusted. There also needs to be a very basic order management
system which displays all the orders placed by date range.
The product functionality will include a cart, checkout page and an account page. A membership system
will need to be included, with data being stored for product. All content should be able to be updated
via a Content Management system; the product pages will need a product management system. The
product functionality needs to include the ability to enter in a stock quantity and when the quantity is
equal to 0, the items add to cart button should not be enabled.
There needs to be the ability to add in shipping, using an API call to the USPS webpage for latest
shipping rates, each product will have a measurement and weight attached for a total to be sent
through in the call, the return should display for the total amount in the cart at checkout.
The product pages need to have primary categories, sub categories and products, following a three tier
structure. The product management system needs the ability to add and remove categories and change
category positions when needed.
