I have a logo for a small daycare which I have told them I will print on some shirts for them. They sent me the artwork they are currently using as a PDF. I'm no expert but I've been around awhile and I would say that the caricatures of the little boy and girl have come from raster graphics, not vector. I can manage all the text, but the caricatures need to be cleaned up.
I use CorelDraw (and have Illustrator but I'm not very proficient with using it) and I have tried to clean up the artwork but I do not have an artist's eye or skill. I need someone who can clean the caricatures up and make them into proper vector graphics which will look clean and sharp when viewed at a larger size. If you look at the files you can see that the PDF version looks okay, but certainly not great, when the image is small. Looking at it zoomed in and you can see the caricatures look terrible. Looking at the CorelDraw file I've attached you can see what progress I've made cleaning up the little girl (eyes and smile are very noticeable, the rest not as much but still better). Where I'm hitting difficulty is in the little girls hair; the original image was either scanned or otherwise spent time as raster graphics and lost definition. I need an artist with experience and skill to clean that hair up and make it look right (and the whole drawing, actually).
So, here I am. I'd like someone to clean up the little girl and boy and make proper vector artwork of them. I want the finished product to look as much as possible like the supplied art but with cleaner, more even lines (notice, for example, the line thickness between the little boy's lower two fingers on his right hand; it's too thin) and to make the images look "right". As they are, the boy and girl don't look right; they're blocky, missing detail which obviously was there originally, and generally not suitable for reproduction.
