Entry-Level Children's Story Illustrators

Create colored illustrations for simple children stories.

I'm looking for a new UpWork freelancer for, potentially, long term children's books. Each story can vary from 7 to 15 illustrations. Each story has an outline for each sentence/s for illustration.

The total illustrations can vary from 7 up to 20 drawing for $15 per project. Being a new startup, if we end up getting more requests, we will increase the budget significantly.

$15 = 7 - 15 colored illustrations. And NOT $15 per illustration.

The colored illustrations must be saved in .jpg or .png. The size should be a A4 paper.

Kindly put '$15 FOR 7-15 IMAGES' in your application so I would know that you have read the instructions carefully.

The illustrators will sign an agreement. Below is a part of the agreement.

The Artist:

i. Declares he has obtained all proper rights or licenses for all images used in the creation of the Work.

ii. Shall transfer his copyright of the Work to the Client upon final payment receipt.

iii. Must not include the Work in his online portfolio or business promotion.

iv. Acknowledges he does not own or has right or title to the Book containing the Work, nor to receive any royalties on Book(s) sold, or derivative works containing the Work.

v. Agrees to treat all information about the Book’s content as Confidential and not cause or permit such Confidential Information to be disclosed to any third party.

The Artist hereby represents and warrants:

i. He is the creator of the Work.

ii. The work does not infringe any copyright, privacy rights, or legal rights of a third party.

iii. The Work does not contain any unlawful material.

If you agree with the above mentioned aspects, if possible, please be ready to create a test illustration of the attached file. The test illustration is as follows: a middle aged is standing on a spermwhale with his car attached to it with the whale is halfway in water. In the background, a few islands can be seen.
