I am using flexslider in my app and have a slider that is maybe 250px tall and has 100% width. However, the images are being stretched in the slider and I don't want that. I either want the image to be proportioned and have a black background or we just tile the image within the slider.

Dealt with flexslider and it's annoying style bugs in the past :) It's probably a simple CSS override that will fix this for you.
