I'm looking for a experienced ReactJS or VueJS and Electron developer to create pretty much a duplicate of the Twitter For Mac client that was recently discontinued by Twitter. This is a fast performance, polished Twitter Desktop App with similar look/feel/features at the (again, discontinued) Twitter For Mac app.
Features:
+ Backend is just Twitter API with basic local app storage for secure connected user account keys and preferences
+ Switch between multiple Twitter accounts
+ Show "new content" indicators on not currently active accounts in menu as well as active account.
+ Design as close to Twitter For Mac as possible; at least with its layout, interactions and swiping panel animations
+ Allow users to choose multiple premade themes (make theme colors changeable via developer)
+ New tweet with all standard features, mentions/hashtag lookup, and copy/paste image adding support.
+ Timeline with Image, Gif, Video, Card, real time updating, and Reply/Retweet/Like counters support.
+ Tweet detail view with conversation ordering and clicking replies/retweets/likes gives list of recent users (like [login to view URL])
+ Notifications similar to [login to view URL] (like/retweet/follow activity and replies to your tweets)
+ Direct Messages support - multi-user group DM support if possible
+ User account with their tweets, media, lists, likes, report/block, follow, following indicator, etc.
+ Simple List support: browser tweets by Twitter user is created list and allow new list creation
+ Search with filters like [login to view URL]'s (top posts, latest, accounts/users, lists, etc)
+ Twitter style muting for users and hashtags ("words")
The features listed above are high level. I basically want a Twitter For Mac replica in features and design. You're free to use any libraries and frameworks that make this job faster/simpler, as long as it doesn't compromise performance. I don't expect a flawless design and am more critical on interactions (responsiveness feel) and functionality.
Budget can be expanded depending on developer skill and scope. I might add this to the app store, so performance and security are BIG needs.
