Reading waveform to LabVIEW from Oscilloscope

hi there, the job is to retrieve a waveform coming from Agilent 86100C Oscilloscope on Labview software. the Scope is connected to a laptop vie GPIB/ USB interface. The Oscilloscope's drivers are given by Keysigth company and few example to control the scope. our Scope display an optical pulse of 8ps period after using an external trigger to trace the waveform. i have tried to use the existing examples provided by Keysigth, but i did not succeed. Things i think need to be modified on the existing example like ; time out, VISA READ AND WRITE COMMANDS and maybe more. if you are interested, i will be granted team view access to the pc which is connected to the Scope to test VI's. that will speed up the process a little. i am looking forward to hearing from you soon, Best Wishes, Labview newbie,
