I am in need of someone who can help me file a small estate affidavit with St. Louis County for a very low cost. My father passed away this year with very few assets and no will. I've been quoted attorney fees that would cost nearly the entire estate to file this simple form with the county if I used a law firm. I'm hoping there may be someone who is licensed to practice in Missouri but not currently doing so that would be interested in this quick work.
My understanding is that I need a licensed attorney to file this, so this isn't a task for someone who thinks they can just google it and figure it out (I've already tried that). I would like to pay someone $50 to complete this task.
