We make custom designed furniture and deliver flat pack. We need packaging designed that fulfils the following requirements:
• Product is premium and packaging needs to reflect this although where possible recyclable / compostable material should be used
• Packaging needs to be branded
• There needs to be a spot to place postage instructions and order details (will be stuck on as a label)
• Packaging must protect corners as well as whole thing from scrapes and dents etc.
• Products will be shipped (domestically) in packaging
• Packaging must be flexible to accommodate custom designs (all made of flat plywood or MDF, but dimensions will change
• Products will come in lots of parts. Each one needs to be protected, and spaced to prevent damaging each other
• Parts are all square, except for hardware (handles, hinges, drawer runners etc.) and drawers with will be prebuilt and come in boxes (also needs to be designed)
• Cams are already inserted in boards, but the products will come with cam covers and a screw driver, as well as hardware.
Requirements are for a box that can change dimensions:
• x anywhere from 70cm to 230cm
• z to fit parts that are one of these 3 widths (29 / 34 / 39cm)
• y will be 20cm maximum
As well as spacers for
• Going between sheets (in the a plane)
• Spacers between parts in the b plane ie one part may be 120cm and then there may be 2 that are 50cm each. The 20cm gap needs to be filled to stop the 2 smaller parts moving around.
And protection for all parts from the outside
