Web-based table (from MySQL) (for jpvaz)(repost)

A ONE page web based table getting data from mySQL.

(No relationship, it is just ONE mySQL table with all the data in it.)

It is a very SIMPLE table).

**Note that the picture is only for information. You may put links instead of pictures... buttons may not be where they are on the picture. It's OK.

What I am looking for a the FUNCTIONALITIES.

However note that the nicer the higher your chances for a 'bonus' as well further bigger projects in the future.

Preference will be giving to open source technologies (Java) vs proprietary (.Net). Let me know the server, and languages and frameworks (Java, JSP, Struts, AJAX) you would like to use.

AJAX application will be given preference as well. (Any technology enhancing user experience (ie as less as possible of 'page' refreshing).

Note that there may be around 5000 records.

Slight advantage will be given to coders using Model-View-Controller practices.

Code should be fully editable and implementable on another computer.

Some quick requirements:

Possibility to select all or several rows and export to an XML file.

Import from an Excel file.

Add, Edit, Update function.

Possiblity to Update several records at ONCE (bulk update).

The bulk update can be one or several fields.

Under the table there should be a form showing? the fields? for the selected record.
