Home Page Redesign

I have a vBulletin website that fits my requirements. The only change/update is to make the landing page, HOME, more ascetically pleasing since the current page is limited to those options provided by vBulletin.

The home page for [login to view URL] is what I would like to replicate with my own content.

1. Leave the current background picture as is. You may have to darken the overall appearance so the content can be viewed more clearly.

2. Header Area; Place Buck and Duck Logo in top left corner with transparency background similar to the REALTREE logo. Include a weather widget to the right of the logo with default as Houston, Texas. Include all aspects of the widget such as location above the temperature, Forecast Details, picture of the current weather (the sun), and data entry box to input your own city or zipcode. Include social media links for Facebook and Twitter as well. A search box with advanced search capability should be include in the Header area as well. This is currently on the Buck and Duck site.

3. Picture Pages - create a visual page with a picture for each current page listed on Buck and Duck. The Realtree site examples are Company, Camo, Merchandise, and Hunting. I will provide the pictures for each Page at the appropriate time.

4. Rotating Banner Area - directly beneath the Pages should be an area for Banner Rotation. This could be a banner for our own merchandise or for paid advertisers. The banner size should be consistant and I will need to know what size the page is designed for.

5. Articles - directly beneath the Rotating Banner Area should be the Articles area. These articles will be based upon the current vBulletin articles located in the CMS content area under admin control panel. This area should replicate what the [login to view URL] site has in place.

6. Blogs - directly beneath the Articles area should be the Blogs area. These blogs will be based upon the current vBulletin blogs located in the CMS. This area should replicate what the [login to view URL] site has in place.

7. Fish & Game Forecast Widget should appear under the Blogs area.

8. Next to the Fish & Game Forecast Widget should appear an area for banner advertisement. I will need to know the standard size for this area.

9. The right side of the page should be reserved for advertising and Forum information.

9.a - The top of the right column should be an area for a "square" advertisement.

9.b - Below the square advertisement will be Member Photos. This area will populate random photos from the Gallery solution.

9.c - Below the Member Photos area will be Today's Poll. This will be based upon the poll within the vBulletin solution.

9.d - Below the Today's Poll will be the Community area. This will communicate some of the current post titles in the Forums area and will also include a listing of who is online.

The page should be renamed to The Official Home to Buck and Duck. The current name is Buck and Duck Forums - The Front Page.
