Hello,
We store customer order PDF files on our web server. We would like a way for a customer to enter a Job ID to search for, find and download the PDF with the filename that matches the entered ID.
We already have the page designed here: [login to view URL]
We also already have a file location in Wordpress where we will uploade the PDF files to.
The process would look like this:
1. We will drop a PDF file into the designated location on the FTP server (within the Wordpress file path). For this example we will call the file 09222021.pdf.
2. User will enter their Job ID into the text field on the page: 09222021
3. The application will search the static FTP folder for the file name with that value in it.
4. If the file is found, the screen will update with a download link to that file allowing the user to download it
5. If the file was not found, a message will be displayed (message to be editable in code if needed).
A Wordpress plugin is preferred but a standalone PHP application is ok as well. We will be choosing based on price, features and overall solution provided.
