Need Video Thumbnails for external videos on my wordpress site

I have been looking for several hours a way to display video thumbnails from external sites into a post,

Scenario:

I have got a excelfile(CSV) that contains thousands of lines where each line is a raw video url

example:

Line1 [[login to view URL]]

Line2 [[login to view URL]]

Line3 [[login to view URL]]

etc..

(The videos is not from Youtube or any regular tube site)

I can import all the videos into posts flawless though each post is missing a video thumbnail since I only have got a raw mp4 video URL.

My only requirement:

every video in the csv file is displaying in beginning a commercial-banner, that means all my videos need to have a thumbnail from the middle of playback

I tested several plugins though nothing that worked:

video-embed-thumbnail-generator that I was closest to accomplish what I wanted with.

embed-video-thumbnail here- didnt work

How could I solve this?
