We are looking for an illustration that can serve as the main image on a book cover. The vision of the book is a world where men and women work joyfully alongside each other, as equals. The book will be normal paperback size (around 6x9"). You don't have to include the book title, but if you want to incorporate the title, use "Why Can't Women Do That? Men and Women in Biblical Leadership". (the first part of the title is the main title -- the second part is the subtitle)

I am looking for a design that is more abstract and not too literal. It could be minimalistic or stylized or dramatic. Color or Black/White. Digital or watercolor or hand-drawn or any other style is welcome. The design should have an emotional feel to it. Men and women are given dominion over the whole earth to rule over it as wise and kind and loving kings (while submitting to each other and to God). Fathers and mothers are called to lead their families as wise and kind and loving leaders (while submitting to each other and to God). How best should we express all that one-ness and power and love and mutual submission (and spirituality) in a single scene? I don't know -- That is what the contest is for. :)

I am looking for a creative illustration, not simply an assembly of stock images. The winning illustration will be powerful, emotional, dramatic. It is an image of half the human race, being with the other half of the human race, unified in their purpose/vision/value/love/power/humility/dominion by the God of the Universe. These are big concepts and they demand powerful abstraction. Color or Grayscale will both work (all things being equal, color would probably beat mono, but the other elements in the image are more important).
