Geológia Jobs

Geology is a branch of science that focuses on studying the history of the Earth and its composition. Geologists research and analyze data to gain understanding of the Earth’s resources and provide insight into natural phenomena like earthquakes, landslides, and volcanic eruptions. Systematically examining rock samples, they study the Earth’s strata layers to assess which areas are the most profitable to mine for minerals and other valuable materials. Geologists also play an important role in understanding climate change by analyzing soil levels, ocean sediments, and glacial ice in order to gain an understanding of past climate conditions.

Geology is an incredibly important field as it helps us unlock the mysteries of our planet and make informed decisions about mineral extraction and other earth-related processes. By employing a geologist or geoscientist, clients can benefit from their expertise in examining the composition and structure of rocks, soils, minerals, and oil fields, and draw insights about what compounds can be extracted from those areas.

Here's some projects that our expert Geologists made real:

• Creating landscape evolution models or hydrology models in landlab.
• Developing mine plans using NPV method (Net Present Value).
• Researching reservoir characterization of Nubian sandstone in Libya.
• Studying existing and potential mineral claims online.
• Investigating hydrogeology/Western Port Basin to identify saltwater intrusion.
• Using geographic information systems (GIS) to map data.
• Developing models for tectonic movement in Cairo.
• Analysing soil mechanics engineering projects.
• Creating self-calculated weather forecasts.
