Hi I work in the Training Department, for a large Oil & Gas company in Saudi Arabia which has (approximately 5000 personnel) . For each person there are approximately 16- 20 courses depending on position but we do not have an efficient stand alone system to manage this and use Excel.
We keep a master schedule stating:
Date of courses
Local ID number & Houston ID number
Employee Name
Position Course Title course Start & finish Dates
And attendance (Attended / Cancelled / No show)
On a separate sheet I have place all the courses with 1st column Date of month (1-31)/ 2ND Column No. of Employees,/ 3rd No. of Nationals /4 Column No. of Expat & TCN's / 5 Column No. Cancelled 6 Column Number of No Shows.
So I want get these numbers from this Sheet and auto populate into the course sheets for each month.
To identify the Nationals from the Expats and TCN's can be done by identifying the first 3 numbers of their Local numbers all National ID number begin with 900 whereas every one else have a different first 3 number prefix.
I have attached a small portion of our master file and also a small sample of the course sheet that need to auto fill
I need the formulas shown also so that I can add to this as and when required
