Some of the requirements are
- This application should be triggered from a link (through email or text). This should verify if it is a valid link (I will provide the code logic for validation)
- If it is an invalid link, then it should throw an error on UI as an invalid request
- If it is a valid link
- Make a webservice call to an external system based on the data from the original link
- It returns Order or Error Data
- It returns Error Data, then displays the appropriate Error message
- If it returns Order Data
- Display the items, quantity, description and cost
- Display the total amount and amount that needs to be collected (All these values will be populated in the Order Data)
- Provide an option to pay that amount by clicking Next
- Provide a drop-down with options for Credit Card and Paypal right now.
- If Credit Card is selected, then display Credit Card fields like Card Number, CVV, and Expiry. Mention that the existing billing address on order will be used for the payment.
- Once information is captured and on click of submitting, call a java class (I will provide the class).
- This java class returns the data and if successful
- Display 'Amount $<xyz> has been captured'
- Call external webservice with XML provided by the java class
- If it failed, then display an Error message from the response
- If Paypal is selected, then provide the link for payment capture for Paypal.
This java class should not store data from the website anywhere in the system. This application should be PCI compliant
