I need a module that will allow message filters to be created and managed and a function that can be called which will check whether a message matches one of these filter rules. If there is a match, the function should execute the associated action.
Take a look at the Thunderbird message filter to understand how the filter should work.
Deliverables:
1. Form which can define and edit multiple message filters. Each rule should allow multiple actions to be linked.(*)
2. Function that will check whether the message (parameter) matches one of the filters
3. Demo program showing this Form and function in action
VS2010 / VS2008 C# .NET 2
(*) Instead of the email related actions found in Thunderbird these actions will be functions to be called.
Bidders - I would like to see the public function prototypes that you will define as well as how you will store the filters.
