Europe Excel and VB Macro Data entry Specialist

Hiring a software developer to augment and/or expand an existing REST API application and script Excel Macros to add a new feature that will post real time Forex instrument historical data to a designated Excel worksheet. The current REST API application and Excel Macros presently posts real time account and exchange rate data to designated Excel worksheets, as well as automates order placement and trade execution through Excel. This project will expand the current system by adding instrument historical data to be used for instrument analysis and charting.

NEW FEATURE (to be developed): Retrieve and Post Historical Data

Step 1. Retrieve Data from Oanda servers. Specifically, retrieve the instrument historical data using the REST API provided by Oanda. Query input parameters are detailed in the "Historical Input Parameters" section in the "Account" worksheet. See attached Excel workbook.

Step 2. Post the retrieved data to a designated Excel worksheet. Specifically, post the instrument historical data to the "Historical" worksheet in the attached Excel workbook. Data will include "time", "openMid", "highMid", "lowMid", "closeMid", "volume" and "complete" data and will span a predetermined span of time using the input parameters articulated in the "Account" worksheet found in the same Excel workbook. Data will be posted in the respective columns sorted by instruments, as presented in the attached Excel workbook.
