Modify existing VB6 Treeview control

VB6 Treeview control

Claims:

Multi select with standard modifier keys (Ctrl, Shift), parents and children mixed

Drag and drop of items to a target in the tree with no re-ordering, with preview of target place

It must be possible to make parents to children by drag&drop

Dropping children into free space must make parents of them

Besides the mouse functions, there must be functions to move selected items up, down, left, right

When moving parents, children must follow

Window selection of nodes

Every single node shall contain arbitrary data, up to 64MB each (2GB max of course), this may be a separate array, but synchronized with the tree

All standard properties as seen in the treeview of the common controls 5 must be available

Save and load structure to file

Expand and collapse nodes

Pure VB6 code, no third-party modules allowed

Only [login to view URL] is allowed to use, API calls as well

No [login to view URL]!

If [login to view URL] is required, it must be embedded

Otherwise only pure VB6 code

Must run under all OS since XP SP3

Sample app must have Visual Styles enabled by manifest in EXE

To deliver is a well-documented, industry-standard code for the new control, and a working sample app as well.

Library must be OCX or DLL
