BBC Radio 4

In July 2019, I worked closely with the production team of BBC Radio 4's consumer programme, You and Yours. It was my duty to shadow the producers and production coordinators when shows were on air, and assist in the smooth running of the shows. I also answered phone ins from the public for the weekly edition of Call You and Yours. After completing the initial placement, I was asked to work on additional dates as a freelancer, as I had made such a good impression.

Liverpool sound City, Liverpool, UK

During this festival, I volunteered as an assistant stage hand during performances in Brick Street Bar, Liverpool. My duties were to shadow the Sound Engineer, and assist in carrying each of the performer’s equipment on and off stage during the turnaround times in between performances.

Bongo's Bingo, Liverpool

During December 2018 I joined the technical team at Bongo's Bingo, at their Liverpool events in Camp and Furnace, to shadow the sound engineers, lighting designers and videographers, and was given the opportunity to operate the equipment to run some of these shows. Such was the good impression made, that in June 2019 I was taken on as a touring freelance Video Technician for the company.
