Data entry

I have a number of Excel spreadsheets. Each Excel spreadsheet corresponds to a certain month (e.g. August 2005). Within the spreadsheet are a few columns of numbers. Column B has a stock symbol in it. I also have another spreadsheet that has a symbol in column A and a date in Column B. The script that needs to be written has to correspond the symbol and date from the second spreadsheet and find it on the monthly spreadsheet, and then transfer the data from that row into the second spreadsheet.
