Revit MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)

This purpose of this project is to add MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components and infrastructure to a structure detailed in an existing Revit (RVT) file. The structure detailed in the Revit file is an SDU (Secondary Dwelling Unit) and is not very large, but it does contain all of the infrastructure any typical house would have, along with several unique systems. We have described the MEP components, infrastructure, placement, etc. to be added to the main Revit file in several documents and drawings in various Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, and AutoCAD files. The final Revit drawings must contain all of the major details contained in these documents. Please note that the documentation is for actual construction purposes too, so it includes several ‘notes’ and some granular details which do not apply to the drawings. The AutoCAD DWG files have been provided to assist in the proper placement of the MEP as the routing and accurate placement of the MEP is critical. Framing information is also contained in the Revit drawing fil. The final drawing for this project will only include the added MEP components and infrastructure which will then be linked to the main Revit drawing file. Candidates bidding on this project must be proficient with AutoDesk Revit and should also have access to AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD Architecture). And as usual, we will typically not respond to the first bidders on a project. We have never liked the speedy, automated responses to our past projects because those candidates obviously did not take the time to review our project in order to become familiar with it and give us an informed, educated offer. We usually look at bids after a couple of days and only consider the bids from people that have actually reviewed our project and aren’t offering a ‘canned’ or ‘pre-planned’ automated response. So with that in mind, don’t rush, we prefer quality over speed. Thank you for your time and good luck!
