Hi, to understand the setup you required. You are looking for VPN setup between your web server and database server? Ex. Which IP address you want to keep secure? I guess the database one and if you want to limit who can connect the database server, I can set that up for you with windows firewall. Good day Sir, I'm an experienced software developer with vast experience regarding VPN setup and working with tunnel. For this project I'd recommend using OpenVPN since its free and perfect working. All you need for that access to the server running the sql server. The time needed for completion depends on the OS the server is running. For windows it'd be about 6-8 hours. Can you please tell me, do you want to install VPN server directly on SQL server machine? or do you want to use separate machine for this task?
