We have worked on environments of companies like “Deloitte” and “James Group of Marcus Millichap”. My recent projects consist of "Deloitte Access Economics" which is a part of Converge Health. Hi! I'm fresh off working at acupuncture orgranization that needed to import data to Salesforce from their older system. The final files were in CSV and I used a combination of VLOOKUPS and formulas in Excel to format the column data properly to be compliant with the Salesforce dataloader field syntax - especially for multi-picklist and date fields. If there are related records eg: Contact-Account in the import, we have to make sure the data is arranged precisely to avoid hitting import limits, especially when dealing with more than 2000 records. I will ensure that the import file is prepared properly and we can try it in the sandbox so that you are 100% confident of saving the record in the correct object structure in the main instance. I worked at a Salesforce ISV building banking apps, we used lists for our targeted outbound marketing campaigns. It is crucial to place these records in the correct object that's best suited for the process you use internally for qualifying leads.
