Graphic Designer Needed to Create Multiple Images for Dating Game

Please see the "detailed requirements". ## Deliverables PROJECT SUMMARY --------------- This project is simple, but probably time-consuming for a graphic designer. I am attempting to create an avatar-builder for an Android app using jQuery, but I need the avatar elements to be designed. We're looking for avatars very similar to what is shown here: [login to view URL] Except, we want the full bodies, not just head/torso. And, the woman should have one hand on her waist, and one hand at her side. ALSO view the .swf files that I've attached to my bid request, and the "[login to view URL]" file, also attached to the bid request. IMPORTANT: The avatars should be *cartoons*, not realistic drawings. They should NOT be anime, and they should look like they are about 18-21 years old (not kids, but not old people either!). The heads should be slightly out of proportion to the bodies, so that when we shrink the avatar down in size, we can still see the facial features clearly. I need this project 100% complete within 3 weeks. Not more than 72 hours after bid acceptance, I would like to be able to see at least the first 8 - 10 graphics (as layers in a Photoshop file). You should be amenable to my feedback, and willing to incorporate any design suggestions that I make, if I'm not 100% satisfied with your designs. I created a few already, which you can see in my "[login to view URL]" sample. However, the ones that I created were copied from the Flash-based avatar builder called "TizMe", which is copyrighted. I have included the TizMe .swf files in "samples" so that you can see what I was aiming for. For this project, I will need ORIGINAL avatar images (but very SIMILAR to the TizMe images) which I can use for my Android app. BIDDING ------- I will only accept your bid if I can actually see at least one sample of what you would ACTUALLY design for this project! I am not interested in viewing your entire portfolio. Please create a watermarked mockup of an avatar based on my design ideas below (and attached to this bid request). I will not accept your bid without seeing a watermarked sample of an avatar that you would create for this project. DELIVERABLES ------------ I recommend that you do the following: 1) Create a Photoshop file, and design a male and female avatar (perhaps a separate Photoshop file for each). The avatar should have all the avatar design elements as separate layers in Photosop. For example, you would have "male_hair_1", "male_hair_2", etc. and "male_eye_1", "male_eye_2", "male_eye_3", etc. as layers. 2) Then, EXPORT all layers as transparent PNG images. The idea is that I will be able to then layer the PNG images onto the avatar image during the game, giving users the ability to "try on" various body parts and clothing items for their avatar. Thus, the final deliverables will be 2 photoshop files (one for males and one for females) with dozens of layers each, each layer containing a different avatar element. I should be able to show/hide layers to see how different avatars would be designed. You must name the layers appropriately, and then export the layers to transparent PNG files, with the files being named after the layers. This should be possible to do somehow in Photoshop (perhaps as a "batch" process). AVATAR ELEMENTS NEEDED ---------------------- For *each* of the avatars (male and female), we need the following layers MINIMUM: * 4 body samples (the same body shape and size, but different skin colors, similar to how it is done in TizMe). Thus, my users will be able to choose from 4 female samples, and 4 male samples. * 6 hair samples of various styles (long, short, bobbed, etc.). For EACH hair style, we would like: blond, brunette (light brown), black, and red. You should be able to quickly colorize the hair samples in Photoshop to do this quickly. Thus, the end result will have 6 x 4 = 24 hair PNG files for EACH sex. * 3 eye samples (various colors and various shapes). Like the hair graphics, for each eye sample we would like various colors: blue, green, and brown. (3 x 3 = 9 eye styles for EACH sex). * 3 mouth samples - they should all be either smiling or neutral (no angry looks) * 10 shirt samples - please include both casual and formal looks. Within the 10 samples, you should have at least one "sexy" look, one sporty look, one trendy look, one formal look. and one business look. The remaining 5 are your choice! * 10 pants samples - please include both casual and formal looks. Within the 10 samples, you should have at least one "sexy" look, one sporty look, one trendy look, one formal look. and one business look. The remaining 5 are your choice! * 5 jacket samples - please include both casual and formal * 3 shoes samples - please include both casual and formal * 8 non-clothing samples - for example, ear phones, holding a cell phone, holding an ice cream cone, a wrist watch, etc. * 5 items that are accessories not attached to the avatar's body, like a beach ball, or a skateboard, etc... i.e, things that are sitting at the avatar's feet. FEMALE ONLY: * 6 "jewelry" items - these can be necklaces and/or earrings (perhaps 4 necklaces and 2 earrings samples) * 5 "hoisery" items - these are things like stockings and socks. It would be good to have a couple of "sexy" ones. ADDENDA ------- Please ensure that your Photoshop files are backwards-compatible to version 6. You should send me an update that I can view every few days at least, or whenever you have designed anything significant. For this project, if you are having trouble completing designs for all of the above avatar images, I would be willing to accept partial work, provided that the designs that you do complete meet my requirements. For example, if you only have time for 3 shirts, then I would release a smaller % of the escrowed funds, and the remainder would be returned to my vWorker account through mediation.
