Message passing from C code to Java code

I need some code written to support passing json messages from a C program to a Java program. I want it to use an external open source message queuing component such as ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ or an equivalent. What I'm looking for 1) C code and build support - C source files, any required libraries, standard Makefile to build it. Should be able to be built in Centos 6 using gcc. 2) Java code and build support - Java source files in an eclipse project plus any required jars so that it runs. 3) Functionality - Running both pieces I should be able to pass JSON messages from the C program to the persistent Queue Manager, and then receive them in the Java program through the JMS onMessage() listener. I would like to avoid complex solutions such as introducing another language, or writing messages to a file and then reading the file to push them to the queue, or anything like that. Simple is better.
