Looking for programmer to write time-based or counter-based (HOTP/TOTP) authentication using ASP Classic. Has to support Google Authenticator mobile app. Looking for a plug-and-play solution where I can integrate this portion into an existing web site without too much modification.
Instead of a two-step authentication method, as found on Gmail and Amazon (AWS), the interface will have three fields: User Name, Password, and the encrypted number from Google Authenticator App. User Name and Password will be verified through AJAX (I will implement). The encrypted number field will be verified also through AJAX (your job). Once all three fields have been verified, the "log-in" submit button will then become available.
Will also need a sign-up procedure for existing users where they can scan QR code or type in system generated random key so their Google Authenticator will sync with the system.
You can reference this if you are not familiar with the subject; however, the link will only be a starting point:

Will consider .NET or Javascript (JQuery) implementation if it can be done without having me to modified codes as I'm not fluent in these languages. The whole point is to make it as modular and plug-and-play, easy to install, as possible.
Following is very similar to what I'm looking for. Except it's done in MVC, which I know nothing about. I need you to do something similar with a classic ASP front-end so I can outfit the codes to my own needs. Again, you can use the following as you wish and can retain the actual engine, but I need a classic ASP site that'll fit my skill set. So, essentially, this project is already done by someone else, I just need help in building a classic ASP front-end.

For finished products, I'd need web pages built in classic ASP. While the engine that drives all the codes can be done in .Net or JQuery, the user interface will be the one that I would modify. I would need you to host these test pages until I approve them. The test pages should have the following:
1). Log-In Page. User Name, Password, and the Authentication Code (as generated by Google Authenticator).
2). Sign-Up Page. This is for users after they log-in. Similar to Google or AWS syncing of the Authenticator. You can try this out at any of your Google accounts by:
- Account set-up.
- Security.
- Password - turn-on two-factor authentication.
- You'll go through a series of checks where Google will send text to your smart phone to confirm. I don't need this part.
- After completion, you'll given an option to switch the two-step authentication to the Google mobile app. This is what I need.
- You'll be asked to scan a QR code with the Google Authenticator on your smart phone and then enter the code shown on the app.
- Once entered, the set-up is complete. This last portion of scanning the QR code and entering the code is what I mean by "Set-up."
Not looking for something original, so if you have done similar stuff in the past and can re-package it to fit my needs, it'll be just as good.
hello sir,
I have experience in google authenticator app. I have done this in sharepoint website. and i can also do it in you asp.net website.
Please check my past work that is on google authenticator application.
thank you

Hello Google Auth with ASP. How are you? I hope the messages sifts through all the spam in a can responses to find you well. Rather than bore you with how many years I've been doing this or that (that's what LinkedIn is for) I'd like to talk about what you can expect if I'm select to complete this project.
I will design, develop and deploy this integration in 4 days. All work uploaded to a online test environment daily. You will receive a status email with instructions for user acceptance testing. Daily checkpoint meetings will be available to ensure I am developing exactly what to the requirements and expectations. Prior to breaking ground on development a simple project plan will be submitted for approval and upon completing documented source code and user guide documents will be provided. During development and post go live I'll do my best to absorb change request and additional requirements.
For serious prospective customers I can provide a proof of concept prototype. I completed something similar (2 factor authentication) for Rolls-Royce aerospace.
I'm thrilled to find a project the aligns so closely to my skill set and experience. Please contact me with any questions of prototype request.
Warm Regards,
Nathan Holland
