Usually there are multiple algorithms working simultaneously in an app. Also there are multiple algorithms to accomplish a task (i.e. (2 + 2) = (5 - 1) = (10 - 6) = (2 * 2) = (8 / 2) = 4), so actually the point should be to figure out the algorithm which closely resembles the one you want to inspect. We can't really know what was on the app creator's mind. :) Thank you
