Content Management Systems

Greetings Programmers. Firstly, if you bid on my last project, I apologize for not getting back to some of you. My client had their budget pulled so the project was cancelled. With that said, another client of mine wishes to develop a CMS with some fairly straight forward features. The design of the website will be provided; along with the XHTML and CSS. We just need someone to code the backend admin which will drive some of the pages on the site. The CMS will need the ability to add and edit and view: - News articles - News archive - Upload firefighters (pics, bios, email, stats) - Upload coloring sheets for kids - Upload photos for gallery - Publish Schedule of Events - Publish Articles with ability to upload files to be made available for download - Publish time sheets There will need to be an area for users to register and for admin privileges to be given to relevant staff. Perhaps using existing open source blog software and modifying it might be the best way to go here. Something powerful and customizable like Word Press perhaps? Good luck to all the programmers bidding and we look forward to working with one of you very soon. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Not sure yet. Coder would want to be familiar with HTML, PHP and/or ASP. Please specify what languages you are familiar with.
