Joomla Integration and Layout Design

Summary: This project is to integrate a shopping cart, photo gallery, and news letter application with a new joomla install and build the site layout. Purpose: The site is [login to view URL] which is an online store for a brick and mortor Tobacco Shop. The site will present information regarding what Mountainview Cigar is, a shopping cart, a news letter which users can manage their subscriptions, a photo gallery, and a contact page for customers to contact the Mountainview Cigar Company. Requirements: Overall Requirement that the site be maintainable by a non-computer savey person. Must be simple to modify the content on pages and maintain the shopping cart. Front Page: Will contain a featured item and recent news. Shopping Cart: This must be Virtuemart shopping cart due to CC processing compatibility. Major plus if QuickBooks integration ready. Photo Gallery: This can be either Copermine or Gallery2. Prefer Gallery2, but if theming/integration is easier, Copermine can be used. About Page: Will contain further details about the company. Simple text and images. Contact Us: Standard text page, contact info, etc. Newsletter: Page to allow users to sign up for the newsletter and maintain their subscription. The attached file is a Joomla + Virtuemart integrated install. Theme will be applied by subsequent project. If this project is completed satisfactorly you will be given the first opportunity for the project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working website as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased except the GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. as licensing is applicable. 4) Will provide instructions for how each page is updated that a non-computer savvy person can follow. ## Platform The site is hosted by GoDaddy and needs to be viewable by all modern browsers. IE6+ for IE Compatibility. 1024x768 should be the assumed desktop resolution.
