Word Press vs Drupal

Hi, I have several web sites to develop I will begin posting as soon as I decide which platform to develop in. I have been leaning towards Drupal as I have learned it is very powerful, and many say it’s the best CMS. However I have found that often Drupal is not so easy for a, non-coder as myself to administer. I have two sites in Drupal now and I’m OK but often run into issues that require a lot of time to figure out. I have never used Word Press, some say it way easier, takes less time, does almost everything Drupal does, etc. I’m all about saving time. Plus if it has more themes and plug-ins it may take less time to develop. I'm looking for a developer who is well versed in both Word Press and Drupal who has no particular bias other than choosing the right platform for the right job. That can submit in writing what the main reason are for choosing one over the other. Following are some of the key points that come to mind. - With Drupal there is the issue of versions not being compatible with modules, which I gather is more frequent with Drupal than Word Press. - I've been getting advise that Word Press is much easier to administer, plus has more plug-ins etc. - Here are main functions I need, a job board, a wiki, a classified section, and a shopping cart. Of course I will want many of the usual modules such a Google analytics etc., html editor, a gallery, forum and blog etc. to name a few. Lastly for one sites I'm considering having the ability to allow individual users the ability to edit their own section and add content, plus share any ad-sense review in their space. I think Drupal a has a module for that. This is a feature to the best of my knowledge only Drupal can do. One of the sites is a simple ecommerce site to sell products and should not need any community features. Those are the basics. Thanks Phil Watkins
