I want a program that will extract sections from the DMOZ directory for link pages.
There is a good program at <[login to view URL]> however, this program frequently stalls and isn't really fitting my needs, so I want my own.
The program should be able to extract sections of the directory just like the program above does.
However, it should also be able to extract DMOZ search results.
So if you searched for a term, you could extract all 4,333 or even 10,000+ search results if you wanted.
The information must be extracted to a specific format in excel.
I will specify the column headers etc after I select the coder.
I would prefer that this program extract to an excel database, as I think it is easier to work with.
Lastly, I should be able to quickly edit the category/subcategory so that site extracted has a category that is only 2 levels deep.
Category, subcategory.
Qualified coders only. Should have extensive knowledge of extraction programs.
