We would like to have a site developed same as Trivago.com. Has already been built partially in Symfony + Elastic search but want to switch (probably to Ruby but suggestions are welcome). Needs to be light weight and makes use of multi api for data aggregation. Not all api's are available yet so the site has to be prepared for adding various (different) hotel api's in a later stage. Site should be working as follows. Customer searches a hotel in location X and gets matching results, upon click customer gets redirected to hotelprovider destination site (for example Expedia) where the booking can be finished. We will not store payment data etc. We will only aggregate and show data coming from external api's and possibly show user generated content (coming from hotels itself.) For more information check the Trivago site to get an idea how it should work.
