Joomla & Virtuemart upgrade or New Platform.

This Project is mainly to upgrade current Joomla and Virtuemart to latest versions on a small business live ecommerce website. • Current Virtuemart version 1.15 stable • Current Joomla Version 1.52 stable • Full backups will be taken for additional security. • MySQL will be upgraded to latest version after a recent Plesk upgrade this is now out of date. • Back-end modules will need to be either updated to comply with new version of Joomla and Virtuemart – or – custom modules will need to be created to work in new version. Details will be shown to eventual winning application • All current Google content and ranking must be kept intact so as not to lose Google natural rankings etc. • Full site must be set to all links being HTTPS using current HTTPS license • After HTTPS applied and working, there are to be no errors warnings in any browsers and again this should not affect any Google natural rankings or current Google AdWords campaigns if possible. • Upgraded version of website will be fully mobiles responsive • Upgraded version of website will be fully speed optimised and have no less than 80% ranking in Google’s [login to view URL] test • All old data currently on file storage will be removed and deleted or placed in a deleted folder for later destruction to minimise confusion of what files on server are live and useful and which are for later full deletion. • I will also consider moving to another platform if it can be proved to better for any given reasons explained by you. The move will still need to have certain back end functionality like the ability to make bulk changes to many products or groups at once as is currently able on live site – I will explain in more details later. • There will be one milestone and that is when the full project is completed. Automated applications will not be considered your application will be hand written covering all of the points above and giving example s of where you have done this type of development before. If there are one of two of the points above you cannot address then say so and we can work together on that to find other sources to cover that area if not additionally too expensive. Ideally project will be finished as soon as possible but more important that it is done correctly – give the time of the year I will not risk moving to new site or new upgrades until it is shown to be fully working in the test area or test site. Your submission will contain the words, ‘Project 149’. You will submit a real completion time and will be available on email and skype and respond to all communications in a timely and professional fashion.
