that is a popular problem in fact..I can fix it for you in under an hour ;)

This is most likely a configuration problem. If no session is saved on every page refresh then it's most likely a permission problem. If sessions drop out after a couple of refreshes then the problem can be associated with load balancing. There are a couple of other things to consider, too. I can look at everything and try to figure it out. I will require server access via ssh.

I have good hosting experience with 1and1 hosting along with other known hosts. Server side sessions have default config if they are not in sync with your developed website chances are they won't work . If your webserver has ssl enabled and you hand coded your urls still there will be ambiguity to an extent that they won't work. its fairly less than two hour job.
