What will you do?
Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
• Lead territory strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Engineers, and Partners - all to maximize business development in the given location.
• Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
• Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level;
• Manage multiple opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
• Experience selling SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) with a demonstrated track record in reaching strategic business goals in the technology industry.
• Demonstrable ability to speak credibly about SaaS and PaaS, and to perform basic technical qualification.
• Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
• Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
• Excellent written/verbal communication/presentation skills, and strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute a territory sales strategy.
• Experience on Subscription Sales and license sales models
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 10+ years’ experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
• Significant business development and project management experience required.
• Must have experience in the relevant industry.
• Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions a plus.
• Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers a plus • Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts.
• Global Delivery Model experience desirable.
• Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams desirable.
• Track record as Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
