I have a project that I am ready to start. BUT! Before I will release the detailed specifications for development, each bidder must prove to me that they have experience developing software that integrates with Quick Books. Telling me you have experience is not enough! You must provide or arrange to demonstrate examples to me. I sure everyone feels they can attack this project and learn and figure it out, and I understand from development years. BUT only experience people or teams will work on this project. I have a complete detail design include all field and data structures Changes inside QuickBooks as well as the addition applications that will run outside the QuickBooks environment while share some look up tables – and integration of data being added the QuickBooks database. Changes inside QuickBooks are just adding fields to inventory and the general ledger This project is for the sub-contracting industry and actually for specially trades Simple explanation: There will be a estimating application that creates proposals, many lookups like customer etc will be inside QuickBooks – But data will be stored separately. This program will be the largest application, nothing as simple as the QuickBooks proposal. There will be a work order application – that will allow the user to select proposed work from the proposal and create a work order ticket for the workers – Also this will be a key integration with QuickBooks as this work order ticket will also be transferred into QuickBooks as an estimate, so QuickBooks can invoice the job There will be a Job costing module that will involve detailing materials and labor used on each work order ticket and this also with be integrated into QuickBooks in a summary form.
