Design a eCommerce/content managed website The Home improvement business specialize in -Doors -Windows -Conservatories Family run business, moving operations from Showroom to Online. You will need to: Excellent at programming eCommerce website / Have an excellent level graphic design team. The website should be designed from the beginning by your team, no templates, no copying. You should PLAN and DESIGN before Coding starts. Research other similar businesses online, study their functionalities and designs. Than you need to present sketches and mock ups, and create a design in Photoshop, this needs to be approved before development phase. You need to create a database to store products & create formulas to work out price of products depending on size and features. Architecture/framework behind the site is important. -Customer visits website to buy item, item value is calculated depending on size and features. -to have: new user account/exisiting user account/trade account -Items that cant be priced, there will be an inquiry form. A backend user interface to be created for admin to login, and add/delete/amend products or features. Designed so that even NOVICE computer user can operate.
