Android/.NET Client+Server Software

We need a developer familiar with both Android and Windows programming to quickly develop two basic software apps for these platforms (iOS and Windows mobile an advantage also, but not necessary for the initial project) We need a pair of programs which will work together in as basic Client/Server configuration between the Android app (Client) and Windows (Server). The software will:- • Establish a connection between client and server over Bluetooth (and optionally USB and Wifi) • The Windows application shall run in the system tray and await incoming connections from the Client (only ever one connection at a time) • Once communication is established, the Android app will continuously send the co-ordinates of the users’s fingers position on the android screen and click event (simple buttons are fine) in real time (obviously care needs to be taken on if when information is sent i.e. only sends when valid activity else idle) • The Windows app shall be as lightweight as possible and reside in the system tray after install. • Once connected, the app will accept the position and click events (single and double clicks) and emulate a HID (Mouse) towards the underlying layers of the OS. i.e it will register itself as a mouse and have the ability to control any of the mouse HID function’s defined by Windows7/8 (.NET) • Windows app to be written in Visual Studio (Visual Basic preferred) • Android app to use latest Android version but backward compatible with previous versions • The deliverables will be full source code and build environments (Windows and Android) – obviously well documented - along with installers for the client and server applications Please outline how you would intend to approach the work, what components (software building blocks) you would use along with the suggested development environments. Please also include details/background of your experience with Windows and Android as well as iOS and Windows mobile. We will likely follow up this project with versions for other client server combinations so broad skills across other platforms will be view positively. Finally, please estimate the time it will take to develop and deliver both applications in a single package (calendar days not man hours)
