We work with small and medium size businesses to build their online presence and with early-stage companies to build their web and mobile apps. Job Description We are hiring a Technical Proposal Writer who will be able to create proposals for potential clients. We have existing proposal templates for the different types of work that we do (list below). We need an individual who is able to refine those templates and create a proposal specific to the potential client. There will some need to edit text; however, the main responsibility of the Technical Proposal Writer will be to (a) Create the Budget, (b) Implementation Plan Broken Down By Hours, (c) Outline the different technologies, plugins etc that will be used, (d) To interact cross-functionally with developers, management, to produce/create top quality and clear documentation. This position requires strong writing skills with American Vernacular. The different types of Work/Proposals we write are below - WordPress Site o Company Website o Membership Site with a Forum o Personal Portfolio - iOS Application/Android Application/Web Application o Software as a Service (Saas) o Marketplace Application o Social Networking o Company Process Automation REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum two years of experience in Technical Proposal Writing • Experience in technical writing concepts required for development of WordPress sites/Web Applications/IOS/Android App. Candidate should possess experience working in any of the technologies mentioned above. • Strong understanding of web/software development lifecycle • Great attitude and work ethic; self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a team • Detailed oriented with focus on timely delivery and quality results • Analytical (Quick Learner & Problem Solver) • Commitment to continuous learning and applies learning to job-related functions • Thrives in a collaborative team environment with the ability to communicate effectively with team members across the organization including peers, development, product management, and management
