Hello, I work between two machines (Home and Office) and need a synchronisation tool setup so I can synchronise two things: CuteFTP's Site Manager and Protector Suite QL's Site Database. CuteFTP's database is a DAT file and PSQL requires a registry command to be run to export then it becomes a .reg file containing the information. I am thinking the best way will be to have it upload to an FTP server when the computer is shutting down, hibernating or going into standby and then have it download this when booting from cold, from hibernation or from standby but you guys are free to think of a better way (maybe true synchronisation merging in changes - which would actually be preferred if possible as a third machine may be brought into the equation). Both machines run Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit and both machines use the same Windows username which will make things a little easier. Best Regards, Craig Brass

Hello I have a similar problem, i have a database of over 6000 files which i need syncronized between currently 10 computers. some of my files are big (a few hundred MB) and others are small and the system i use works flawlessly. if the DAT and .reg files you export are under 2GB you can use the same system as me. It works in the background with no need to even check it, it has automatic syncronisation, and will syncronize from any machine online. I researched many methods before i chose this one for my needs, and this one is brilliantly simple and fast.

Hello, I have read through the introduce of your project. I am not very sure which things you want to Synchronise, the DAT file and the database? I think the best way is to brought a third computer into this equation, such as a ftp server. I can write a simple program to automaticly do all these work for you
